You can manipulate events fairly easily with the right setup. That said, it's better than waiting for years on end, no? So I mentioned before of players sleeping for years on end to get specific events, YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THIS. Unfortunately, there is no magic trick I have to trigger the exact event you want right away. If an event day happens and you don't find the event for whatever reason (meaning it doesn't show up in your diary), then the next day is an event day.Īnd now for the real reason you clicked on this. You might hear of players sleeping for years to get events, this is not necessary. I've had events show up after two days, sometimes it took two weeks, but an event every week seems to be the general pattern. Something to keep in mind however is that this is a guideline, not a rule, while I can usually time events with around 95% accuracy with this method, sometimes events just don't show up when you plan for them to.

So using my example above, if the 11th was a festival day, then the 12th is the next likely event day. If it IS a festival or festival eve, then it'll happen on the next available day. For example, if the last event ended on the Thursday the 5th, assuming Thursday the 11th is not a festival day or day before a festival, then it's highly likely that is when the next event will happen. Assuming that day is not a festival day or the day before a festival, then there's a pretty decent chance that that is the next event day. The best way to do this is to find the day where the last Town Event you had ended, then skip ahead one week.
FACTORY TOWN EVENTS HOW TO
So if you're going to track events, you need to know how to time when they'll happen, because there is a method for how the game picks event days. If you are not playing the Switch release of Rune Factory 4 and are playing the 3DS version, unfortunately, Memories and marriage events are random and fall under the Normal Town Events category. Dolce's event, “The Running Sign”, and if you are playing Special, the Arc 3 event, Memories and all marriage events fall into this category. While these events do use an event day, they do not seem to have an official name as they do not show up in the diary.Īutomatic Events are triggered by the game automatically when the player meets certain conditions for that event to happen. You do not need to see these events to marry the person in question. However, there are a few like Clorica's and Dylas's that can be triggered by both genders. Almost always they will indicate that the bachelor/ette in question has a crush on you. Mini Events are small, one day scenes that happen on an event day. You'll know one is playing if you go to your diary and see a tab called “Town Events” under the Save button. Normal Town Events are ones that are just your normal run-of-the-mill events with a few sprinkled in that you'll need to see to marry that special someone. All of these take place on Town Event days which I'll get to the details of in a moment. There are three different categories you can fit Town Events in 1. It can take a minimum of 3 in game years to trigger all of these events, so it's not a bad idea to know how this system works.

Town Events are signified by villagers sprinting to specific parts of town often as early as around 6:15 in the morning, though that's not always the case. Often, a new player's first notable instance of a Town Event will be Dolce's event “The Running Sign”. These events are usually just fun side stories that breathe some life into the town, but unfortunately if you plan on getting married, you'll usually need to trigger one or two of these random events for each marriage candidate. Town Events are Rune Factory 4 and Rune Factory 4 Special's version of the commonly used “Heart Events” in other Harvest Moon/SoS style games. I find it as hilarious as I do annoying.) Also a special thanks to the author of this guide for their Undertale profile pic that shows on the mobile app and whenever this guide is linked.

FACTORY TOWN EVENTS FULL
How Often Event Days Happen and How to Time Themįor a full list of Town Events, this is the most complete guide I've seen (Oh, the irony of that red text saying you can't force a particular one to happen being linked in a guide to tell you exactly how to do that. The guide will be split up with the following: So some of you long time followers of this sub may remember this guide I wrote a year ago and because I've had plenty of time to test events in Special, I figure it's time to give the guide an update, as well as clear up any misconceptions about events, as there can be a lot of false pieces of info about them.
